Doseline

Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Doseline mobile application (com.serkansayhan.doseline). By using Doseline you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

Doseline is not medical advice. It is a notebook that does arithmetic. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend a dose, or tell you whether your treatment is working, and it is not a substitute for your doctor, your pharmacist, or the instructions that came with your medication.

Never start, stop, change, skip or calculate a dose based on this app. Do those things on the instructions of the healthcare professional who prescribed your medication. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

1. What Doseline Is

Doseline is a personal record-keeping app for people taking a prescribed GLP-1 medication. You record your own doses, weight, measurements, side effects and intake, and the app organises them, reminds you when a dose is due, estimates how much medication remains in your body from published figures, and produces a summary you can take to an appointment.

Everything it shows is derived from what you entered. It has no other source of information about you, and it cannot detect a mistake in what you typed.

2. Doseline Is Not Medical Advice, and Not a Medical Device

Doseline is a general wellness and record-keeping tool. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing in it should be read as a clinical recommendation.

No part of the app tells you what to do with your treatment. It reports what you recorded and what follows arithmetically from it. Where it shows a schedule or a titration step, that is a restatement of the plan you entered, not a plan it is proposing. Where you record why a dose changed, that reason is the one you chose — the app never infers or guesses it.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your medication, your dose, your symptoms, and any decision about your treatment.

3. The Level Estimate Is a Model, Not a Measurement

The "in your system" figure and the curve behind it are calculated from published half-life values for the medication you selected and the doses you recorded. They are an estimate produced by a simplified model.

They are not a measurement of anything in your blood, they do not account for your individual metabolism, body composition, kidney or liver function, other medicines you take, or how a particular injection was absorbed, and they may differ substantially from reality. Do not use them to judge whether a dose "worked", whether it is safe to dose early or late, or whether any amount of medication is present. The app labels this estimate and its source on screen for the same reason.

4. Dose and Unit Calculations Are Yours to Verify

Where you draw from a vial, Doseline can convert between milligrams, millilitres and U-100 syringe units. This arithmetic is only as correct as the figures you gave it — the strength of the vial, the diluent volume, and the dose. A typo in any of them produces a confident and wrong answer.

You are responsible for checking every figure before you draw a dose, against your prescription, the label on the container, and your prescriber's or pharmacist's instructions. If the app and your prescriber disagree, your prescriber is right.

5. Reminders Are Best-Effort

Dose reminders and refill alerts are ordinary local iOS notifications. They can be delayed, silenced or suppressed by Focus modes, Do Not Disturb, notification settings, low power mode, a device that is off, or your changing the app's permissions.

Do not rely on Doseline as the only thing standing between you and a missed or a double dose. A missed notification is not a reason to take an extra dose.

6. Your Records, and Keeping Them

Your records are stored on your device and nowhere else — see the Privacy Policy. We do not hold a copy, which means we cannot recover your data for you under any circumstances.

If your device is lost, damaged, reset, or the app is deleted, your record goes with it unless you have a device backup turned on or have exported your data. Export is free and always available; using it periodically is a good idea. You are responsible for keeping your own copies.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Doseline, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Doseline is for tracking a medication that has been prescribed to you.

8. Free Use and Any Future Paid Features

Doseline is currently free to use, with no account and no subscription. Some features may be offered as a paid upgrade in a future version.

If that happens, purchases will be handled by Apple and governed by Apple's terms, and any prices, billing periods and renewal terms will be shown clearly before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us. Whatever else changes, exporting your own data will not be put behind a payment.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Doseline is for prescribed medication. It is not intended to support, and must not be used to support, dosing from unregulated, "research" or grey-market sources.

10. Intellectual Property, and Medication Brand Names

The Doseline app, its name, its icon and its design are owned by the developer and protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.

Medication names in the app are the trademarks of their respective owners — Ozempic and Wegovy are marks of Novo Nordisk; Mounjaro, Zepbound and Foundayo are marks of Eli Lilly and Company. They are used solely to identify the medication you tell the app you are taking, which is nominative use.

Doseline is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, any other pharmaceutical manufacturer, any pharmacy, or any healthcare provider.

11. Availability and Changes

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features. Because the app runs entirely on your device and requires no service from us, an existing installed version keeps working with your data whether or not further updates are released. We make no commitment to any particular update schedule or to indefinite compatibility with future versions of iOS.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, estimate or reminder will be accurate or timely.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for any loss of data, or for any harm arising from your use of or reliance on the app — including any decision about your medication. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 25.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights given to you by the consumer law of your country of residence.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Effective Date" at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
